Oops, how time flies

This post should really start with some apologies because it has been way too long since you've heard from us. It is already October and we're in the middle of low-season. And it is quite a low season this year. It seems most of you decided NOT to visit Playa del Carmen this year, possibly out of fear for hurricanes, but the weather has never been better! True, we have some rain now and then, it keeps our jungle green, but no hurricanes not even tropical storms. It has been a very calm season and here in Playa we like to say it'll be like this for another 12 to 13 years because we only get a major hurricane every 14 years.

But even though it is quiet in town we have been busy at The Dive Company. As you know we have added tours to the webpage, and there are some great ones, check it out. We've also been working on a EFR webpage, it should be coming soon. And, the next PADI IDC is almost here. We'll start at the beginning of November and the exam will take place in Playa del Carmen on the 25th of November. So, if you always wanted to become a dive instructor, now is your chance. Send us an email and we'll provide you with the details. GO PRO and you might end up living in a great place like Playa.

New cool tours at The Dive Company!

As we had previously announced we have made some changes to our website. We are now offering the possibility to book many different tours and activities in Playa and the Riviera Maya. We have diving and snorkling, golf, fishing, adventure tours, ruims and Mayan villages, parasailing, whalesharks, etc. The operators we have selected are operators we know personally and tours we have done and enjoyed ourselves. If there is anything missing on our list, just let us know and we'll look into it.

Also, keep your eyes open for some more changes because we are updating the website again, this time we'll add some accommodations in the center of Playa del Carmen. So if you're looking for a great place to stay in Playa, thedivecompany.com is the website to check out.

The Times They Are A-Changing at The Dive Company

The last few years you have shown us you like the way we work and have let us book many of your diving and snorkel trips. But you kept asking us about other tours as well so we have decided to make a few changes to our website. Pretty soon we will be offering you the possibility to book all kinds of tours, from golf to sailing on a catamaran. Of course we will never stop selling scuba and snorkel, after all, that is the reason we moved to Mexico and stayed here.

So, keep your eyes on thedivecompany.com because you won't have to look anywhere else anymore to book your whaleshark snorkel tours, adventure ATV jungle tours, sailing trips, snuba and power snorkel trips, just to name a few.
